## Conclusion: FLUX.3 Still Has a Long Way to Go

FLUX.3 shows potential, but its text-to-image capabilities still leave a lot to be desired, particularly when it comes to generating realistic human faces. Even with carefully crafted, detailed prompts, facial features often appear unnatural, lack refinement, or simply fail to meet expectations. This becomes even more disappointing when competing models like **Qwen-Image 2.1 and Krea-1 are already delivering significantly better results** in terms of facial realism, aesthetics, and overall visual quality.

Another frustrating aspect is the **Prompt Upscaler**. While the idea of automatically enhancing prompts sounds useful, the amount of time it takes to generate a supposedly better prompt makes the feature difficult to justify. We're generating a single image here, not an entire video. Spending excessive time expanding a straightforward prompt defeats much of the purpose of using a fast image-generation model, especially when the resulting image isn't necessarily better.

Ultimately, **a good image-generation model should be able to produce impressive results without requiring overly complicated prompts or additional waiting time**. Prompt enhancement should be an optional convenience, not something users feel compelled to rely on for acceptable results.

FLUX.3 may have its strengths, but based on my testing, it struggles to stand out in an increasingly competitive text-to-image landscape. With models like Qwen-Image 2.1 and Krea-1 raising expectations for image quality and prompt adherence, **FLUX.3 needs meaningful improvements in facial generation, output consistency, and workflow efficiency to become a compelling alternative.**
